18 PLACES TO PHOTOGRAPH IN ICELAND

ICELAND PHOTO JOURNAL

Iceland is definitely the most spectacular country I have ever visited. It is a very simple country to explore for first timers. Yes, you can go in the harsh of winter, or visit the more rugged Highland which travelers are more likely to attempt on their second or third trip. However, we were visiting towards the end of the Iceland “summer” (still cold) which gives you access to most of its beauty in a generic non 4x4 car. For the most part, you follow one road that takes you the whole way around Iceland, the Ring Road. It is full of beauty and adventure but it can be very easy to miss things on the way. We did!

So here are 18 photos in order of where we explored in Iceland.
